Shadows

The human being forgets his roots so easy....! The technological advance and the new styles of the every day life manage to drift us further apart from our natural environment. Therefore, i created a video which would express my personal opinion and general view of the "shadows" that surround us (nature) and the "shadows" that we become. The cold color filters, the edgy contrast and the abrupt movements of the camera express the negative emotions we have created towards what is supposed to be part of our lives. However, the calm melody of the music,that accompanies the moving images, bring out into contrast the positive sensation of hope.

METAMORPHOSIS

A video created based on the concept of metamorphosis (Alexandra Ghiorghie- Fashion Design) portraying the changes that a human being undertakes during the struggle of life in order to manage and live happy in the end. The monotonic grey filters express the routine during each persons life.... the confusion effect describes the chaos that could constantly exist. However, no matter what happens and how things manage to get worse, in the end each experience, bad or good, has played its own role and significance in order to reach the ultimate end---- Happiness.

All these elements are glued together with an abstract music piece which is properly synchronized to the rhythm of the video (life).

A collaboration with Alexandra Ghiorgie (Fashion Design-Concept) and Dafni Saridi (Media Design- Editing)

Professional Photostyling- Workshop '07

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSTYLING
( Workshop '07)

A professional fashion magazine had to be created from scratch. Students from the fashion and media department took part in putting life into this small but yet 'enormous' project called 'ModClassic'

The students from the Fashion Department put together their ideas and knowledge and created the clothes' closet for the models (fashion students).
And the ones from Media Design arranged the technical part of lighting and photography.
The RAW results (non editted-photoshoped photos) were these....

SOGGETTO

Una donna giovane e annoiata dalla sua vita nella cit ache vive, Milano. Non si sente piu vivace. Tutto sembra invisibile a lei, le strade, I negozii, la gente. Quanto un giorno lei ha un sogno stranno. Lei si trova al un lago magico, c’e la nebbia ovuncue. La, incontra un uomo. Lui e giovane e molto simpatico. Cominciano a parlare. Winry sente una sensazione che non ha sentito prima. Lui la fa sorridere col suo cuore, la fa sognare. La ragazza comincia ad avere lo stesso sogno ogni volta che chiude gli suoi occhi pero senza poter cappire che tutto e solo un sogno. Un giorno, Winry decide che e la dove vuole vivere, no nel mondo reale. Pero, Light dice a lei che questo non e possible perche tutto e solo un frammento della sua immaginazione. Quando la sua mente appena capisce la realta, Winry si sveglia. Si sta seddendo, legata su una sedia, in un ospedale psychiatrico… solo guardando la cita con tanta tristezza negli suo occhi.
